The beginning was warm, as if the autumn decided to retain a glimmer of summer that's gone away.
And then, suddenly, everything changed. While the raindrops bring the smell of distant fields and the leaves slowly started to fall, the autumn has touched the air with cold fingers of the wind, whispering the tales of the sleeping Winter which is slowly preparing for its journey.
The garden will now fall into the sleep. It will dream of flowers, the colors of pelargoniums, the shade of oleanders, books that we read in the dreamy summer afternoons, of morning birds and evenings when the crickets sang.
